The Internet Rabbit Hole: Authenticity, used e-books, openness, and all the reads.

Let’s go diving into Internet Rabbit Holes!

“Breathe and feel. It’s that simple.”

My friend Drea writes a letter to her 29 year old self on her 30th birthday. It’s an annual tradition, and her previous letters are very much worth reading (links within the post).

Used e-books may become a thing, and Nicholas Carr gives us his take on the whole situation. Related: I love his book The Shallows.

I have a copy of Phillip Lopate’s essay collection Getting Personal sitting on my bedside table, patiently waiting for me to re-read. He has a new essay collection out; this may be the fire that needed to be lit under my ass to get me to re-read the damn thing already.

I’m not on Goodreads and despite this article, I’m still not sure I want to jump on the bandwagon.
